"Availability info was a headache"
I ordered a light fixture because the site said it was available, and I remember even double-checking the little stock note before checking out. Then a few days later, I got an email saying it was actually backordered, which was frustrating. I kept looking for a real date or even some kind of clearer update, but it was mostly just waiting around. The fixture itself looked great and I do like their products, but the stock info really needs to be more accurate

"The light itself looks nice once it’s up..."
The light itself looks nice once it’s up. I was mostly focused on getting it lined up right, so I didn’t pay much attention to anything else at first, but the install definitely took longer than I expected. The directions felt a little sparse, and I ended up having to redo one step. Not a huge deal, just not quite as easy as I thought it would be.

"Listing was misleading and I got the wrong color"
I ordered what was supposed to be black lights, but bronze ones showed up instead. The wording on the listing made it seem like I was definitely getting black, so it’s frustrating. Feels like no one bothered to double-check before shipping it out

"I really wanted this to work with..."
I really wanted this to work with my smart controls, but the Alexa setup just never worked right for me. Tried going through it a few times and it kept being a hassle... ended up frustrating.

"Trying to Use This Site Is a Headache"
This site is such a pain to use. I feel like I’m clicking around forever and still can’t find what I’m looking for. The layout just doesn’t feel intuitive at all. Make it make sense.

"Support took forever to get back to me"
The product itself was okay, so I thought things would be fine if I needed help. But customer service took way too long to reply to my emails, and I had to follow up twice just to get a basic update. i felt kind of stupid for trusting them to handle it properly. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it was definitely frustrating

"Disappointed with the quality for the price"
I really expected better for what I paid. A few of the parts felt flimsy right out of the box, and the finish started scratching way too easily with normal handling. At this point, I’m not just mildly disappointed, I feel like this needs to be addressed by customer service because the quality doesn’t match the price.

"Shockingly, the right part actually existed"
I needed a replacement glass shade for an older Hinkley light and expected the usual runaround or to be told to just buy a whole new fixture, because apparently that’s how things go now. But somehow, they actually still had the exact part. Ordering was easy, it showed up, and it fit the way it was supposed to. So yes, very happy I didn’t have to replace an entire perfectly good light just because one glass shade broke.

I figured returning my order would be straightforward, but it ended up being a headache. I kept getting bounced around, the replies were slow, and the steps weren’t very clear. it was a lot more annoying than I thought it would be

"Pretty decent fan overall"
It moves air well enough and does what I needed it to do. It can get a little noisy here and there, but it’s not a huge deal. I’d say it’s probably a solid pick if you just need a basic fan.

"I’m happy with these lights..."
I’m happy with these lights. The design has a clean, simple look that feels a bit more modern without being too flashy. In my room, they ended up fitting the vibe way better than I expected, and I think they make the space feel a little more put together.

"Light’s great, but I felt ignored"
I bought this outdoor light last year, and to be fair, it’s held up really well through rain and snow. It still feels solid and works just like it did on day one. The only downside is I did reach out with a question and never got a response, which made me feel a bit ignored. Product-wise though, I can’t really complain

"Pretty easy install, but one diagram threw me off"
I installed our hinkley light over the weekend, and for the most part the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wiring steps made sense and the parts were labeled okay. That said, one of the diagrams was a bit confusing, and I felt a little misled by how straightforward it made that step look. It ended up taking longer than expected because of that. Overall I’m still happy with the light, but I’d probably give it 4 stars.

"I thought there would be way more..."
I thought there would be way more to choose from, but the selection felt limited. A few of the lights were actually nice, but at the same time a lot of them kind of looked the same to me. I couldn’t really find the style I had in mind, so I ended up buying somewhere else. Not the worst selection ever, just a little disappointing.

"So quiet, I wish we got it sooner"
Our new fan is seriously quiet, even when it’s running at night. It’s been great so far, all those noisy nights with our old one feel totally preventable now that we’ve switched.

"Packaging was okay, but could’ve been better"
I ordered a light from Hinkley and thankfully it arrived in one piece, so I can’t complain too much there. The box was banged up when it got here though, and the tape looked like it was barely hanging on.

There was some foam inside, but a few pieces were loose and rattling around. Nothing ended up being damaged, but for the price I expected the packaging to feel a little more secure. Has anyone else had the same issue with their orders?

"Looks good, but the price gave me pause"
The lights are nice overall. They look good once they’re set up, and they don’t feel cheap or flimsy, which I always worry about with stuff like this because pictures online can make things look better than they actually are. So in terms of quality and appearance, I don’t really have a big complaint. My only issue is the price. It just feels a little high for what you’re actually getting. Not outrageously expensive or anything, and I wouldn’t say I regret buying them, but I did find myself thinking they should either cost a bit less or come with a little more to make the value feel better...

"Pretty standard order experience overall"
I ordered from hinkley.com and for the most part everything was fine. The site was easy enough to use, and the item itself arrived in good shape, so no real complaints there. I wasn’t in a huge rush or anything, but after placing the order I did find myself checking the tracking a few times, and it didn’t really update for a couple days. That was probably the only annoying part. The shipping ended up being a little slower than I expected, not awful, just not especially quick. I’d probably order again, but it would help if the delivery timeline was clearer upfront.

"Got it sorted quicker than I expected"
I had some kind of issue come up, not totally sure what caused it, but I reached out and they got it fixed fast. Didn’t have to go back and forth too much, so that was nice.

"Warranty help basically saved my day"
I had to use the warranty, i was expecting it to be a whole dramatic nightmare. But nope, they got the replacement sent out super fast. I was weirdly shocked by how easy it was—like, I was ready to be annoyed for a week and they handled it right away.
